"Rabble" is the 12th episode of season one of Generator Rex and the 12th of the overall series. It debuted on October 1, 2010.
When investigating crimes in Hong Kong, Rex bumps into old friends of his from the past. Except they're the ones committing the crimes.
While in Hong Kong, China, with Agent Six, tracking down three EVO criminals, Rex discovers that a member of the gang named Tuck knew Rex despite Rex not being able to remember him. White Knight concludes that someone is behind the robberies and orders Agent Six to have Rex infiltrate the three criminals' gang.
Tuck leads Rex to Tuck's two friends, Skwydd and Cricket. Rex cannot remember being a member of their gang because of memory blackouts, which Tuck mentioned he suffered frequently. However, Tuck is able to prove it by revealing that all four of them have voice activated nano-ink tattoos, due to a problem with a shapeshifter. Rex also discovers that the gang is being forced to work for a crime lord named Quarry.
When Rex finally confronts Quarry, Rex discovers that it was he himself who traded Tuck and the others to Quarry, who reveals the information on a diary kept on a PDA. This causes Tuck, Skwydd, and Cricket to turn on Rex.
Suffering from a guilt trip, Rex goes to shut down Quarry's ring, causing the gang to turn on Quarry after seeing Rex stand up for them and destroying the PDA when Quarry bribed him. Quarry and his EVO servants are arrested by Providence. Rex tells White Knight that Quarry has been apprehended while Tuck, Skwydd, and Cricket had gotten away. Rex tells Tuck, Skwydd, and Cricket that Providence won't come after them as long as they don't give them a good reason to and departs on a good note.
Back at Providence, Rex informs Holiday and Six of his amnesia-causing memory blackouts. Agent Six gives Rex a journal and pen for Rex to record anything that he does remember to help cope with future memory blackouts while Dr. Holiday theorizes that the blackouts are most likely triggered by extreme emotional trauma during specific events.
