Data rod

Rex holds a Data Rod after finding it.

A Data Rod is a small device that stores information. It was supposed to be retrieved by Captain Calan, but after his jet underwent an attack, the ship crashed into the Bug Jar, causing the data rod to be lost. The rod was later found and secured by Rex.

Purpose

According to Dr. Holiday, the schematics hidden within the data rod would allow Providence to build a device capable of predicting what type of EVO a person might become.

Trivia

• NoFace was not interested in the device itself but in the fact that more people would come to the Bug Jar to take it, which significantly increased his chances of escaping.
